Carolyn M. Oosterbaan, 34, of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016. Beloved daughter of James and Mary (nee Kiernicki) Oosterbaan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher; grandparents, Steve and Leona Kiernicki, Kitty and Bob Kishler, Gerrit Oosterbaan. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 am at church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Carolyn was a graduate of Munster High School Class of 2000 and was formerly employed at Walmart in Schererville, IN. Memorial contributions to YMCA Camp Independence, 32405 North Hwy 12, Ingleside, IL 60041 or South Suburban Special Rec, 19910 80th Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60487 in her memory would be appreciated.
