Dale L. Olson, 68, of Columbus, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Don; son, Kevin (Mindy) Olson of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren, Amber (Sean) Brackin, Brooke and Marissa Olson all of Greenwood, IN; sister, Dara Spivack of Omaha, NE. Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Dale was an elementary school teacher in the Hammond School System from 1972-1981. Then went on to teach in the Columbus School System from 1981-2008. Helping children to learn in school meant everything to her. She enjoyed attending musical concerts, stage plays and spending time with family and friends. Please omit flowers. Donations to Hospice of South Central Indiana would be appreciated.
