Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Darrell. Although our mid life paths took us in different directions, we will always cherish the trips ( snowmobiling, boating, flying ) and great times we had together, Even the cigar smoking and an occasional libation. He will always be part of our memorable conversations. Never forgotten. Thanks for all the good times.

Brett/Ashley, I have such fund memories of your Dad coaching me in biddy ball and little league. I remember in 4th grade biddy ball your Dad and Joe Culberg were our coaches and we used to practice at Frank H Hammond. In 1997 when Brett and I were on the Rockies and in 1999 on the Astros. I'll never forget either season because we won the Championship and Darrell was our coach. Your dad was my favorite coach in all the years growing up. When others didn't believe in me, he always did. He was always smiling and cared that we were good teammates and always practiced good sportsmanship. Simply put, he was the best coach I ever had. I am so sorry for your loss. He was lucky enough to see grandchildren and you have my deepest condolences.Joshua Levin
