Dennis S. Adams, 70, of Highland, IN passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Jo Lynne Adams. Loving father of Tammy (Scott) and Nick (Sherrill) Adams; proud grandfather of Daniel and Rebecca and great grandfather of Nicholas. Caring brother of Dorothy (Richard) Barnard and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Helen Adams. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Friday November 7, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Dennis retired from LTV Steel with 37 years of years. He was a member of the Highland Town Council and involved in politics for numerous years. His passion was spending time at his lake house in Michigan. He was devoted to his family and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Calumet Humane Society in his memory would be appreciated.
