Edward Robert Girdick born in Chicago, IL to Edward G. Girdick and Georgian E. Girdick passed away on October 8, 2018 of natural causes at the age of 68. Dedicated employee of ArcelorMittal Steel for 49 years. Loving partner of Danette Mears; Father of Kraig, Kristin, and Kari; Grandfather of Eva, Lilah, Quinn, Reid and Max; Brother of Bruce Girdick; and Uncle to Joshua, Ashlee and Leslie Girdick. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN 46321 with a service at 6:00 pm. Interment will be private.
