Gary Grunhardt, 57, of Highland, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kathy; son and daughter, Matt and Angel; brother, Rick Grunhardt; mother-in-law, Loretta Bonin; sisters-in-law, Rose (Ken) Jordan, Nancy (Ron) Hanrahan and Kim Bonin; faithful companion, Gus; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 3:00-7:00 pm with a Celebration of Gary‚Äôs life at 7:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. Gary was employed at J.B. Hunt Transportation for many years. He played baseball with the Yaquis in the Oaklawn Baseball League. He played baseball in the Hegewisch League and the Roy Hobbs Baseball League in Florida. Gary was an avid fisherman and poker player. He will be missed as a loving friend, father, and husband\”
