Jose F. Garcia, 53, of Hammond, IN graduated to Heaven on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Born to Jose A. Garcia and Tomasa Torres on June 18, 1962. He is survived by his 5 children; his mother, Tomasa; 6 siblings; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose A. Garcia. Jose was a very hard worker all his life. Jose aspired to complete any task that was put before him. He was a devoted Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church (Spanish Department) Hammond, IN. Visitation will be on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 at the church. Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church 523 Sibley St. Hammond, IN. Interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Crown Point, IN.
