I was so shocked to hear of Leslie's passing. We met about 20 yrs. ago at Bakers Square. I would ask for her whenever I would go there. We became friends and hung out from time to time. Over the yrs. our lives got busy so I did not see her as much. My condolences to her family and her co-workers at Bakers Square for she worked there for over 30 yrs. Rest in peace Leslie

Leslie was a friend ~ someone I looked forward to seeing and talking to while dining at Baker’s Square. She always remembered my favorite pie for my birthday. I am deeply saddened by our loss of her.

We requested Leslie every week at Baker's Square. We saw her as a friend, and couldn't believe it when we requested her last Saturday and were told what happened. Like her, we're animal lovers, so our conversation usually centered around pets. We have two shelter cats and a shelter dog. Leslie was so special, and the world was a better place because of her. As someone else mentioned, she did God's work and now His love surrounds her. She will be missed terribly.

Leslie was not only a super waitress, but also an ardent animal lover. She helped homeless pets in many ways. She will sorely be missed by her animal loving friends, who have loved her for many years. Sympathy to her family and may she rest in the peace of God's unconditional love.
