My sincere condolences to each and every one of you. Kate is my boss at Bonefish Grill and a wonderful, great person. After losing my husband two years ago, I can empathize with all the sadness, hurt, loss and sometimes anger at losing your loved one. Our continued faith will help to ease the loss. Each day think about a great moment you had with your loved one. Those memories are always there and help us to remember our loved ones each and every day. Rest In Peace with the love of God.

I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. He and my daughter Susan (Stinson) Wisecarver took horseback riding lessons together many years ago. It was my privilege to give them rides to the barn occasionally. My daughter took over Mike's horse "Esroh" when he went off to college. I remember Mike as a wonderful young man with a ready smile-someone to be proud of. You have my deepest condolences.
Tracy Phillips-Fox (Miss Phillips from STM) left a message on February 8, 2018:
I was so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I love hearing about my past students as they become adults...where their lives take them and the paths they choose. Mike sounds like he had a wonderful life doing what he loved. My heart goes out to the family and many friends he had. It is so hard to lose a loved one, but especially one so young and his life out in front of him. I remember him fondly, from his time at St. Tom's. Please know that you are all in my prayers as you go through this difficult time. I am going to try to come to his wake, but in case I could not make it in time, I wanted to leave this message.

I always called Mike "my food sherpa." He will always have a lasting impression on how I view food and the service industry. Mike was an ambassador in NWI for an industry that so desperately needs one in this area. May his passion live on in those who worked with him. Much love, Mike.
