Steve M. Stimac, 87, of Lansing, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dolores (nee Zatkovich); daughter, Susan (Ray Wetzel) Murphy; son, Steve (Gina) Stimac; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Paul) Martin, Adam (Kelly) Murphy, Christopher (Beth) Murphy, Gregory Wolfenden and Nick (Amber) Wallen; step grandchildren, David, Sarah and Amy Misiunas; 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Wolfenden and sister, Madge Becker. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Steve retired from Union Carbide. He served with the U. S. Army and was a proud member of the C.F.U. Lodge 170.
