Genevieve F. Janowiak, 87, a lifelong resident of Calumet City, IL passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. Beloved mother of Stephen (Darlene) Janowiak, Joseph (Karen) Janowiak, Kathy (Nick) Smith, Richard (Vera) Janowiak and Barbara (late Frank) Selenik; loving grandmother of Stephen, Melissa, Candace, Denise and Kristin; cherished great grandmother of Carson, Chase, Ashley and Ava.Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 9:00-11:00 AM with prayers at 11:00 AM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.Genevieve retired from T.F. North High School where she was the Cafeteria Manager. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking. Contributions to the Humane Society in her memory would be appreciated.
