Kevin J. Benson, age 59, late of Calumet City, IL. Loving Father to Courtney (Frank Shannon) Benson and Jacob Benson; cherished Papa to Cora Kathleen; devoted Son to the late John and the late Gina Benson, beloved Brother to Jackie (Ric) Moraira, Debra (Michael) Rotkvich, Karen Morario, John (Joyce) Benson, Jr., and Kimberly (Paul) Michalski; adoring Uncle to Michael Rotkvich, Jr., Jennifer (Rob) Samuels, John Rotkvich, Janah (Duane) Esquivel, Gina (Ryan) Salin, Britney (Allen) Cole, the late Mark Morario, Jr., Bryan (Megan) Michalski, Matthew (Traci) Morario, John (April) Benson, III, Samantha Benson; precious Great Uncle to Jacob, Sophie, Jase, Nicholas, Misha, Madeline, Eloise, Hayden, Isabella, Sadie, Rowan, Leo, Conrad, Avari, and John; and good buddy to many friends. Kevin was a member of Laborers International Union 269 and worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. ‚ÄúLas,‚Äù as he was known to many, loved to golf, enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and White Sox, and playing a good game of poker with his buddies; however, he so enjoyed when he got on his Harley and took to the open road. Visitation Friday, February 1, 2019 at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN from 3:00 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at St. Ann‚Äôs Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3010 S Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.

My thoughts and prayers to the Benson Family.

I am so sorry to read about Karen's brother. He was much too young to leave this world. My deepest sympathy and prayers for the family.

I am so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. Our condolences to all your family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and I am so very sorry to learn of his sudden passing. As a believer, I do know that he has looked upon the face of our Lord and has been reunited with his Mom, his nephew Mark, and other relatives and friends who are at eternal rest. I pray for all the Benson family, especially his two children and grandchild and ask that He give you comfort in the days ahead.
