Well Billy, I am very sorry to hear that you passed my friend. I remember our days at Mt. Carmel. - I remember you giving me the 3rd degree on who was my friend that was dating your Aunt Darlene.- I remember you were my Center Junior year and us winning and celebrating the Kennedy Cup Championship that year.- I remember Bill Adams calling me your Senior year and telling me how awesome you played and you were the reason Carmel won the Kennedy Cup.- Be proud my friend for you are "one of a very select few" that lettered Varsity hockey all 4 years and enjoyed 4 Kennedy Cup Championships in a row.I know we had drifted apart over the many years, but I also know we would have picked up right where we left off. You will be missed. To the Long Family, I can only say how very sorry I am for your loss. You are in my prayers, Mickey McConnell

Please accept my deepest condolences on the recent passing of Billy. He will always be a Lincoln Jr. High “Legend”. Everybody knew him as he made his Taurus presence well known. He was the guy that other guys wanted to “be like” and who all the girls wanted to “be with”. I know I can speak for many of my classmates when I say we created memories together that will be cherished forever. Rest in peace my friend.
