Bob was ordained while I passed out programs for his celebration; I would be ordained the following year. Thank God for Bob, his wife & children. A Mass will be said at Holy Name Cathedral in his honor and for the good of all the people he served during his 42 years as Deacon.

Deacon Banet was certainly a man of strong faith and one of the kindest men I ever met. I will always remember calling his home and on occasion getting the answering machine... when you hear the tone, speak to the phone, hallelujah. God bless Deacon and his family.
