Beverly Hand Shideler of Munster, IN passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 79. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and businesswoman. Born in Calumet City, IL, she graduated from Thornton Township High School in 1957. She worked as a Bankruptcy and Litigation Coordinator at IBM for 43 years. Preceded in death by her soul mate and husband of 52 years, Stanley Eugene Shideler of Munster, IN, her parents Clyde and Elva Hand of Calumet City, IL, and by her brother Gene Hand and sister-in-law Arlene Hand of Holland, MI. She is survived by her daughter Megan Fage (George) of Munster, IN, son Sean Shideler (Annie) of Chicago, IL, and her younger brother Joe Hand of Texas, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and family members. Family will receive friends from 3 PM until 8 PM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321. Family and friends will assemble for a funeral service at 1:00 PM Saturday October 6, 2018 at Ridge United Methodist Church at 8607 Columbia Ave, Munster, IN 46321 followed by interment at Memory Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make charitable donations to the Visiting Nurses Association of Northwest Indiana.
