Janice Clark, 62, of Hammond, IN passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Clark; daughter, Marcie (Eric) Wallin; son, Brian (Jenny Gold) Clark; grandchildren, Evelyn and Niklas Wallin; brother, Larry (Arlene) Zak; niece, Sharon (Ken) Judy; nephew, Larry (Megan) Zak. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marcie Zak.Visitation will be on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 2:00-7:00 pm with a prayer service at 2:30 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 am at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.Jan grew up in Chicago, IL (Hegewisch). She was the Office Manager for the Thornton Fractional Township School Treasurer’s Office in Calumet City where she worked for over 20 years. She was an avid bowler, golfer, and a long-time member of the PRCUA. Jan spent every moment she could with her family and grandkids. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lustgarten Foundation (https://www.lustgarten.org) for the advancement of pancreatic cancer research would be appreciated.
