Kathleen Ann Chapman, 67, of Highland, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Thursday, February 26, 2015. Kathleen Ann Chapman, 67, of Highland, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Thursday, February 26, 2015. She is survived by her sons, John (Rebecca) Fiss and David (Nancy) Chapman; daughters, Candi (Robert) Geringer-Garza, Cyndi (Nicholas) Woodman, Kristin (Tony Milosh) Chapman and Kara Chapman; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brothers, John Petraitis, Rob Petraitis, Mike (Donna) Petraitis, Brad (Jimmie) Wood and Bruce Wood; sister, Leslie (Lee) Fox. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Chapman; parents, John Petraitis and Irene Wood; granddaughter, Andrea Fiss; sister-in-law and best friend, Mary Petraitis. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Funeral service at 8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. KC was an avid Cubs fan and devoted her life to raising her 6 children. She was a longtime resident of Highland, who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
