John A. Gago, 69, of Lynwood, IL passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Dearly loved husband of 46 years of Stella (nee Kruczkowski); dearly beloved father of the late John Jr, David, Daniel, Robert Gago and Elizabeth (Daniel) Scandiff; loving brother of Barbara Schmidt; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 2:00-7:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. John served with the U.S. Army in Okinawa from 1962-1965. He retired from Navistar after 36 years of service. John was a loving husband and father who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
